Hello all. This is a two part question. Getting ready to set up a 120 (4’) in the next week or so. Going through a stocking plan in my head and thought I had it pretty well set. I visited Disney this past week with my kids and they had some decent tanks in Epcot that I was checking out. One of the tanks had a Kole Tang. It was the first time I had seen one up close and kind of fell in love with it. I was planning on a Yellow Tang, could these two be housed together in a 120 tank?
Secondly, I saw this fish and it’s a beauty. I have no idea what it is but I’d love to research it. Any help with ID would be much appreciated.

hi yes the tangs will co exist ,the other is in the damsel family cant wiat to see 120 keep us posted

Some on here will tell you the tangs would be fine in a 4' tank others no. These 2 fish when full grown reach 7-8" which they may or may not get that big in an aquarium but they do need room to swim. I have a Chevron & Hippo in my 185gl & do fine but they are 2 different genus. Hippo is 5" chevron 4-5". When they get bigger I will have to rehome. They were both in the 1-2" range when I got them 2-3 yrs ago. Make sure you read as much info on tangs as you can to best help yourself make the right choice.

Since when is a Genicanthus angelfish in the damsel family? It’s a Pomacanthid not a pomacentrid

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the help. I love this place. I’m thinking of going with just one of the tangs and this angelfish.
