Hey everyone. Ive been so preoccupied in getting SPS frags to grow out, that I only have one fish in my 125! my tank will be SPS dominated.
I want some input or recommendations on fish! I am looking to fill my tank with really colorful fish of all sizes. Thanks in advance!

one spot foxface will help keep algae in check. coral beauty is the most reef safe dwarf angel. flame hawk fish. many reef safe wrasses. Lamarck angel is a full size angel that is absolutely reef safe.

A harem of anthias will add some pop to your tank as well. Lots of tangs and other simple fish out there. Depends on what you want asthetically.

Good suggestions above and great idea to pre plan out the Fish list. The other thing to consider is the 'Benefit Level' to the Reeftank of each ie Tangs and Blennies in Algae control, Wrasses in certain pest control like Pyramidal Snails, Asterina Stars and Bristle Worms populations. Even Pipefish that are fond of Red Bugs for an SPS dominant system.

Cheers, Todd

I have a 125 and my fish list is Yellow Eye Kole Tang, Yellow Tang, Blue Tang, Mated Clowns, Tail spot blenny, Midas Blenny , Melanaraus Wrasse, Mandarin Goby , Sailfin Tang, and 5 Chromis

That's a nice list there.

im upping my 85 to a 125 soon, so i wanna follow lol, i only have 4 small fish currently so ya. I would def think at least a tang, clown pair, dwarf angel, couple "school" fish like chromis, a wrasse(if not 2), and some type of blenny or goby.

I currently have a tiny blue hippo and a lawnmower. I am thinking of getting a achilles tang and maybe a sohal? Also a wrasse or two, but it's hard to choose which one since there are so many awesome ones. I was contemplating getting a couple dragon face pipefish for possible red bug prevention. Also what do you guys think about butterfly's in a SPS tank??

I am also wanting several smaller fish to get a lot of movement in the tank. My total water is just shy of 200 gal. With my sump and an extra frag tank I have plumbed in
