FISH IDENTIFICATION (clown)

hey guys sorry if there is a fish ID thread I didn't see it so I'm just posting here. I bought this clownfish about a week ago and they told me it was a phantom clown... Well I obviously feel stupid now since a phantom looks absolutely nothing like this. I spent 65 on it and I just want to know what it is. Thanks in advance.

He looks very young, so guessing the clowns type is going to be difficult till it matures and gets it final colors. I was thinking Onyx. I wish you luck.

thats what i was thinking. maybe a perc,onyx mix or something.

do perks come colors like this? because i was looking at the picture of the perc and the black near the top rather than the bottom. i dont want to make myself look even stupider going in there and demanding a free frag or something and then it turns out its a mix of something and he just said the wrong name. but i do know clearly right now that is it NOT a phantom.

The one thing that is for certain, is that you can pretty much get a perk in colors from yellow to white to brown and black. In your case, it appears that the LFS sold you a Perk that is NOT a Phantom but charged you for one. If it was me, I would print out those two articles I sent you and take your pic of your fish back to the LFS and show them that you were charged incorrectly since Phantoms are basically Black and White Snowflake clownfish. And yours is not even a snowflake.
It will be interesting to see what they tell you after looking at the pics you provide to them. Let us know!
