I have had it happen before along with some larger shrimp too. Probably just left over from another type of stuff that they offer although there are likely some fish in those lakes where they get the mysis. I buy mysis by the Kilo and you get more in the packs than in the cubes.

Need a disclaimer that these mysis are processed on equipment that has also processed fish, tree nuts, peanuts. M&Ms and hamburgers.

These are fished with a fine seine net and occasionally a fish or crab will get past it. A good sign its freshly caught

To be fair the fish is in excellent condition

mysis shrimp are from brackish waters and it looks like a gambusia (cousin to guppy and minnow fish)
