I have and eshopps pf 800 overflow and my tiny watchman goby got sucked up in it. Luckily i was able to save him and he is now fine. What can i put up to stop this little guy from going over

Can you get a photo of how that overflow looks on top?

I had the same problem at one time, get ya some gutter guard and zip tie it to the slots in the overflow and problem is solved! Not using it anymore but

No there was never a problem getting the siphon started but the one thing I didn't like about it was if the power went out the siphon would never start back up but that's the only thing I didn't like.

I had the same problems with my clownfish jumping in the overflow. I zip tied eggcrate to the top of the overflow and have not had a problem since
