I have an exquisite and Carpenter wrasse in QT since Thursday. They have been eating and show no aggression, but the exquisite has lost about 20 scales since introduction. Water conditions are good and just completed an 8G WC on a 20gG QT. I have not noticed him scratching or rubbing against the pvc to cause lose of scales. Any ideas?

Are you sure on the no aggression? Can you share pictures with us?

Just started prazipro 2 hours ago. I started another thread ( exquisite flashing in QT )

Losing scales does sound like trauma from fighting. Separate them and see if it improves — you can separate them in the same tank or in another.

What to do
Separate them and see if the situation inproves. A social acclimation box would get the job done for a few days :)

Seperate them. Let the prazi run it's course. Follow the instructions, and run the 2nd dose. If still scratching run copper.
