I wanted ask so I’ve been at this hobby since last July and for some reason fish I have bought either developed swim bladder or died for an unknown reason. I have constantly checked my parameters both with Red Sea, API and Seneye SWS. Originally I lost everything because my digital salinity meter wasn’t calibrated correctly and my salinity which I now measure with a manual refractometer was at 51 ppm which killed almost everything but I corrected that and now run at 1.025. My parameters are below for what I am running. I just lost a scopes tang and he was there for about 3-4 and two days ago he started to hang out at the top of the tank and yesterday he wasn’t eating and breathing heavy so I was wondering what the issue could be.

pH - 7.91
NO3 - 0
NO2 - 5-10 ppm
Salinity - 1.025

Hanging around the top of the tank and breathing heavy = lack of oxygen. What is your tank temperature? As the temperature goes up, the oxygen levels go down.
