Wanted to create a new thread and a discussion on fish list for my 160g build
https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/160g-build-from-latvia.327054/#post-4115661

So long story short in my old tank i have only one fish - magenta dottyback.
For experiment purposes of my qt i bought two talbot damsels.

And my plan on fish list is as follows:
2 x snowflake clowns
2 x twospined angels
1 x tomini tang
1 x twospot tang
1 x mimic tang
those two damsels
and dottyback?

So my plan is put those 2 damsels in first since they are in qt now then slowly the rest of the fish. As i figured there should not be a problem with aggression since the tank is kinda large and talbots are kinda peaceful.

What should i do with the dottyback? Should i put it in the last or somewhere in between or should i get rid of it?

Your comments and suggestions on fish list would be highly appreciated. :)

The list works well for me, with a couple of notes -

The biggest potential problem I can see would be the dottyback. Magentas can be tough and territorial - many years ago, I had a magenta and a tomato clown in a 55 gallon ... and that's all I _could_ keep in that tank. They killed all new arrivals almost instantly.

Try to add the twospined angelfish (I thought I had to go look that up, then I realized ... C. bispinosa ... Here in the U.S., we usually call them coral beauty angels, but twospined is a much better translation!) at the same time, and either both fairly small or one small / one medium sized. Same with the clowns, and you'll have an extra-interesting tank to watch, with those fish paired up!

Agreed. The list looks good, and should be fine. Magenta dottybacks can be pretty aggressive, but there aren't too many niche competitors for it. However, it will severely limit any further additions should you find any other fish you would like to add.
