I am trying to plan the list for my 90. This is what I want but I am willing to change.
Hippo tang, yellow yang, Achilles tang, 2 various wrasse, pair of Picasso clowns, 3 Anthias, mandarin dragonet(once tank is established)
Would this work?

I wouldn’t put the Achilles tang in there tank is a little small for it and they are also hard to keep. The hippo tang might also need a little bigger tank but I have seen the in smaller tanks as well. If you don’t do the hippo and the Achilles the rest should be fine. If you wanted another tang I would go with a yellow eyed kole they are pretty nice. Just my opinion

The yellow would be tight, but fine. The Hippo and especially the Achilles will not work in a 90 gallon. In a 90G i would highly recommend to stick to just ONE tang. Otherwise there will likely be territorial disputes.

I'd say one tang maybe two max, it really depends on the species. The hippo would eventually outgrow the tank, and anyone will tell you a 90 is too small for an Achilles! As beautiful as they are they get very big and are extremely hard to keep in captivity. I had one in a 180 gallon for almost a year and could never get it to eat anything besides nori and it naturally grazing. I even felt that a 180 was too small and really think they belong in a tank of at least 250-300 gallons or larger. For your size tank I would look into something like a tomoni tang or a mimic as they are much smaller but still colorful, and tend to not be so shy and get along great with other fish. I have had yellow and purple tangs which would bully most fish in the tank.

I love the yellow tang especially when he flares his fins. Check out the hawaiian flame, lineatus, and labouti wrasses. those are pretty nice and the black snowflake clowns

DEFINITELY NO achilles and no blue tang...all else looks good to me though.

Alright. That definitely sounds like a better idea to leave out the Blue, and Achilles. Is this list better? Yellow tang, White tail Bristletooth tang, Melanarus wrasse, flasher wrasse, 3 Ignitus Anthias, 2 black ice clownfish, mandarin dragonet. This is by no means a finished list however this is what sounds good too me right now.

I would consider skipping the mandarin. With the 4 wrasse your planning on putting in the tank they will wipe out the mandarins food source quickly. Even if you were to not put any wrasse in I would still wait 6-10 months before putting the mandarin in.

u could do a atlantic blue tang
they start off yellow then become blue
i would just do 1 tang, what about a dwarf angel?
