Hey All,
I am putting together a new tank that I have had running and cycled for getting close to 3 months. I got a 180 gal Red Sea Max S650 and am planning to do a mix reef tank with LPS and SPS and 1 Toadstool for the clowns. The LFS store told me to get a fish list together so they can help me stock my tank over the next while. I was wondering if I can get some feedback on what I am planning to put in the tank, and if anything is incompatible, if there are any substitutions I can do to make it work. I don't have any must have fish but I really like tangs a lot. Additionally, I have a net cover on the tank so no worries there.
Currently I have the following:
2 Percula Clownfish
2 Firefish
My plan so far is to add (not in order):
1 Sailfin Blenny
1 Watchman Goby
1 Yellow Tang
1 Blue Tang
1 Powder Brown Tang
(All Tangs will be added at same time)
1 Indigo Dottyback
1 Fairy Wrasse (is there something more suited? I would love to have a wrasse)
1 Royal Gamma Basslet
1 Magnificent Foxface (I know the issues with potential corals, but my kid loves this fish. Is there anything close to it if it won't work?)
Given enough time I would also like to add a green Mandorin once the tank is very mature.
