Hey all!

I'm consolidating 2 tanks, one 34G and one 20G into one 120G with sump.

I'm hoping to get some help with a stocking list, as this is my first 100+ gallon tanks... Also I'm going bare bottom

My current fish list:
34G:
Royal Gramma
Bengaii Cardinalfish
2 Green Chromis
Watchman goby (will he work without sand?)

20G:
Clownfish
Purple Firefish
Court Jester Goby

I'm of course going to hopefully combine all these fish into the 120G. I can't see any potential issues, but I'd like to be sure.

Some fish I'm considering in the new build:

Tang - Which ones?
Foxface
Hawkfish
Filefish
Wrasse?
Another clown
Coral Beauty (or another angel (my wife likes these))
Anthias?

Any ideas? Specific order to add beyond the initial fish?

Nice list but i would not recommend the watchman goby and the court jester goby if you are not planning on putting sand in the tank. The watchman is a burrowing fish and the court jester is a sand shifting fish so it wouldn't be best for them. And for the coral beauty if you do plan on having coral in your tank just know you will have the risk of him nipping at coral and once that happens believe me it will be the hardest thing to get him out. But for the most part your list seems fine.

Place the most peaceful first and stock slowly of course. It will turn out.

If you are going to add a 2nd clownfish add it right away DO NOT wait. As for tangs and foxface stick to no more than 2 total although you could do 3 you may end up overstocked especially if you intend to keep sps.

Ok cool! I already have the two gobies so would it be best to find them new homes?

What tang would you recommend with the foxface?

In my 120 I have 6 blue green chromis, 1 pajama cardinal, 1 clown, 1 lawnmower blenny, and 2 tangs added together.
A Tomini and a Convict.
Foxface imo get to big for a 120.
I had a cherub angel and it was great for 2 momths then started picking at all my sps and had to be rehomed.
I am done as they will all grow larger so plan ahead for growth.
The chromis are big already.
