So for my fish choice I wanted these, let me know if it’s to much. I have a rsm 250. So 66 gal

3 green chromi
2 mai tai clown fish
1 coral beauty (came with the tank)
1 Watchman goby
1 Mandarin goby( I’m buying copepods almost every 10 days)
1 purple fire fish
1 Dragon goby
2 urchin
So 10 small fish

Seems reasonable to me.

Are you having nitrate/phosphate or algae issues?

No, none. Everything seems to good to be true so far. I say because water parameters have never really fluctuated in me.

Then all is well, imo.

The only potential issues that I see is the possibility of the chromis picking each other off, and I don't know what a dragon goby is (other than the long, ugly, brackish fish).

Hmm, I bought them so they can stay as a school. I’m not to worried about those. The dragon goby is a sand sifting goby. It’s a grayish looking long fish

I got the chromis thinking they would stay a school. Hopefully, the dragon goby is a sand sifting goby. It’s a grey color and long

Looks like an ok list but I agree, eventually the chromis will pick each other off. It may be a year from now but it will eventually happen

Well thanks, I guess when the time comes, it will be that much less of a bio load lol. I really appreciate the opinions

Well when it happens, I won’t commit the same mistake again. Also, less of a bio load.
I appreciate the opinions
Thanks again

Blue/Green Chromis will eventually kill each other? I was told by 2 different LFS that they are one of the most peaceful (& hardy) fish available and that the other types of chromis are more aggressive.

Mine consistently kill eachother. I've stopped stocking them.

I thought I was good.. went over a year and a half in my 150gal then two paired off had eggs and the other went into hiding and a few months later the 2nd was all beat up hiding as well. I also feed very heavily multiple times a day. Still have all 3 but 2 are always hiding only dart out for food

They can eventually be hardy. They can come in small and sickly, even having u. marinum.

They don't school in tanks, and they will pick each other off until the number fits the tank size.

I’ve had my 5 blue/green chromis for about 2 months and they battle. 1 kinda sickly looking 1 had have a tail fin missing. They keep on healing up. They school sometimes when I turn the pumps off. Dustin.

There are several things that lead to crowding.

1) The fish eats a pile of food and produces a ton of waste.

2) The fish is very active and needs a bunch of space, tangs come to mind. Some fish are so active that even very large aquariums cannot keep them.

3). The fish is extremely aggressive and murders other fish.

4). The fish is predacious and eats everything else.

Your chromis May end up murdering each other, but otherwise things look ok.
