hi what would cause my fish to lost their tails.the tail on my lawnmower blenny and strawberry basslet are slowly disappearing.what would cause this. fish are fine eating and color is good:ooh:

Yeah, well clowns are damsels and they get grouchier as they get older.

May need to put him (actually it is probably a her) in time-out in the sump for a while then re-introduce it, and maybe it will behave better. Or re-arranging the rock work, which re-sets their territory in their minds, may help.

Haha deja vu, our Tomato was a monster to other fish, she always chased them and many lost their tails to her, she seemed to settle down suddenly once though and was never a problem again, i think we added a couple new fish who didn't put up with her BS and she decided to sit quiet from then on, hehe...

If you add more fish make sure they aren't going to take it from her or else she'll just take advantage of them!

We dont' have our girl anymore but someone else has taken her place, a Devil damsel, just wish i could catch the blighter, she'd make a perfect addition to the sump just like the zebra did !!!

I had 2 clowns gang up and try to kill my Flame Hawk
I had to pull the larger clown out of the tank.
