Gum drop goby

I've moved him 3 times and every time he goes back, hes got a great piece of dead acro to hide in and lots of nooks in rocks but he lives in the tight spot behind my power head. the first pic was the acro I brought home for him the 2nd is where he lives now he eats up there and everything, should I keep moving him or let him be

So long as he isn't up there because he's trying to get more oxygen from the surface, I'd let him be. I've had a fish that "nested" in my tunze for years. Even when I moved the powerhead around the tank or put it at different depths, she just followed it

How would I know if hes chasing oxygen

I would let him be. He probably found the highest place in the tank where he can watch everything and feels most protected.

he probably will feel much more confident in a few weeks and start perching on many different spots.

I would feed away from the powerhead though so it makes him venture out a little bit.

So for feeding I turned off the power head and let the food float in front of him and kinda away he would dart out grab it and then right back in... I will quit jacking with him and just work on getting him comfortable thanks guys
