Not sure if its possible to tell what this fish may have gotten or has but its a fish only system with artificial inserts-no live rock just bio balls.

Any ideas what this may be and if its possible to treat in tank, there is no catching this guy.
Thank you for any help!

There is lympho for sure but it seems to have shown after whatever happened, I think it was an abrasion first then lympho showed up.
Ive heard prazi and furon being discussed but havent used either and it needs to be an in tank treatment and havent used either before.
I dont want to just start adding stuff to see what happens

Thank you for the reply/post

There aren't really any "reef safe" antibiotics if you think it's an infection.

You could try Ruby Reef Rally. If it's for sure an infection though, ABX used in QT will be most effective for you.

Have you tried "trapping" the fish?

Unfortunately there is no trapping it, tank depth and inserts make it impossible for any trap large enough to hold the fish

Im sadly just not familiar with any antibiotics to treat with, this is a friends tank and is a fish only system using bio balls no live rock or anything other than the fish. It’s an ATM System with artificial inserts.

Is the a “general” antibiotic that may help and not cause harm- anything hopeful is what they’d like to hear/know.

Thank you for the reply and time ;)
