Fish memory

So i had a maroon clown that was with me for about 5 years, even thou it killed 2 other clowns i loved the fish. It just got too big and aggressive so i decided to give it for free to my friend from VIP reefs Frankie. I go back its about 3 months now the fish is in a huge tank with corals and fish. The question is...........everytime i go to the store he comes out, is it possible he recognizes me?

Absolutely. After seeing how fish react to the person feeding them (me) compared to everyone else I truly believe they have good memories. Clownfish especially remember others they were paired up with so I'm sure they can remember someone that took good care of them.
