Good evening,

What do you do with your marine fish when they get too big for your aquarium? I live in Los Angeles and have some tangs and groupers that have outgrown my tank. I spoke to a local fish store and they said they would accept it for free. The fish are healthy and large and I know for a fact they are worth a couple hundred dollars so I don’t see why I should give them away for free. I do want them to live in a larger tank but at the same time I would like a bit of money to put toward buying food, salt, and new fish. Any advice would be helpful.

This forum has a marketplace for trading livestock. It's fairly active, might be worth a shot.
