If you had the choice to have a tank, full of all the high end, beautiful fish that you wanted, without any difficulty keeping them happy, but no corals.
Or an amazing coral reef, full of all the high end sticks and polyps, and whatever else, with no trouble keeping them happy, but no fish?

Which would you choose?

For me, definitely the corals. I enjoy their shapes and colors more than the fish, and you can get lots of movement with certain types. I'm a weirdo that actually prefers freshwater fish to marine, but absolutely gotta have coral!

thats a hard one.if i had fish only could i have inverts snail, crabs, anemones ect.the same if i had corals only?i like fish and i like corals.i have a tank right now and it does not have any fish just corals and its kinda boring, but if i had just fish that could be the same.

I would say fish, a tank full of corals would be kind of boring to watch.

Corals for sure, I keep the fish for the wife and the mantis for trouble making hermits ;) no mercy

Corals for sure but I wouldn't have one without the other. Even a lone damsel in a frag tank makes it better.

I'd do corals, but I don't think I can go no fish since they help with nutrients in the tank! Definitely hard decision!

dang, thats tuff. I'd go corals. Love the colors they add. FO has cool fish ,but weak backdrop to me.
I can get colorful movement with LPS & softies!!

But I prefer Full Blown REEF with lots of stick, anemonee, some LPS and zoas for swaying in the "breeze"

Well if its one or the other, no crossing over it would have to be fish. Primarily because I think it would be tough to have just corals without what fish and substrate stirrers and bad algae pickers and aiptasia eaters and so on do for corals. Fish only would be much easier and your fish list would expand considerably. Gee, I did that for many years, LOL. But having both corals and fish now I wouldn't want to go back but for this topic discussion, fish only no doubt. I do miss all my butterflies.
