Lots of gobies are a great choice for this. If you can find them, you could also keep barnacle blennies, or possibly a Wetmorella wrasse.

True Tiger Pistol Shrimp (Alpheus bellulus) shouldn't hurt other shrimp (unless those shrimp try to invade its burrow). False Tiger Pistol Shrimps such as Alpheus rugimanus, A. djeddensis, A. djiboutensis, and A. sciolii may cause problems though.

A true Tiger Pistol Shrimp or a Randall's Pistol Shrimp (Alpheus randalli) would be a great partner for a Watchman/Shrimp/Prawn Goby - if you can get one of these two for your goby, then I would.

The Randall's Pistol Shrimp is smaller and move less sand, while the Tiger Pistol Shrimp is bigger and moves more sand.

Thanks to this information! I heard something about it before, but only briefly and couldn't find the source. I also noticed that alpheid shrimps that are not belullus do not look like belullus. Like, they have different distinct patterns. So if shrimps in the shop look exactly like true tiger pistol (and from my memory they do) I'm good?

PS: this is the A.belullus coloration that i need?
