So in my tank currently I have a male Oc. clown, a tailspot blenny, and a yellow watchman. In my 20 gal QT right now I have a purple firefish in 2.3-2.4 ppm Copper, with about a week to go in QT. My plan was to add maybe two wrasses, like a fairy or flasher and maybe a Corris, a Tomini tang and a dottyback or a royal gramma, possibly a cherub angel when my coral is more mature. My thought process is to add the wrasses next, and to do a FW bath only followed by 30 days observation no copper since it sounds like they are really copper sensitive. If they develop ick or velvet then I'll have to address with like a 1.75 ppm dose of copper for 14 days and tank transfer them and observe. If the wrasses shed flukes in the FW bath I'll have to address it, but it sounds like they can't tolerate medication like Prazi pro. My thought is they will be more mellow than the tang and dottyback which would go in together and get a peroxide bath/Furacin green bath followed by a copper regiment followed by prazipro if anything comes off if in the peroxide bath. Then those two will be more aggressive and should go in last. The pygmy angel might never go in, just a thought down the road like an biota blue mandarin if I could justify the price. Thoughts/comments changes in the plan are most welcome. Oh the QT 20 gal is set up with airstones, a HOB with non-absorbing media, and a dish of silica play sand for the corris, and plenty of PVC elbows and tees on the bottom, run at 78 degrees and I have an ammonia alert badge in it.
