Fish pooped a pink disc...?

So my cardinal who hasn't been eating since I grabbed him just pooped a weird solid pink disc that looks like it had to hurt coming out. It wasn't flat but dang it was huge any idea what it could have been?

Some snails have a disc that is left behind along with their shell. It's usually pink or brown, flat and thin. Like a sequin.
