Fish problem

I got something coming out of my yellow tang from the bottom it’s a white stringy thing it’s been 2 days but he’s eating fine

Lets get some eyes on it. To me it looks like possible intestinal worms. Food soaked in Metroplex is a good course of action.

In and of itself, white poop isn't bad. The white stringy poop I've seen with parasites looks more like the stretched fibers you would see if you pulled a cotton ball apart. I'm not saying it is or isn't parasites, but are you offering your tang plenty of herbivore foods (dried seaweed, algae wafers, algae pellets, etc.)?

White and stringy poo gets our attention, but we also look to see if the fish is eating like crazy but its stomach is pinched in too.
