Fish quarantine system detail

Or if you are going to reuse it, sterilize with bleach and then let the sponge air dry so any residuals evaporate.
We get liquid bleach with some sort of smell, not pure. What if i boil them?

Boiling would probably cause them to disintegrate. :( You can rinse thoroughly with tap water, but you are probably looking at a 2 week drying time to ensure no nasties are still harboring inside the sponge.

Yea, that sounds good.

Is it possible for ick to come back in dt, even if all the fishes and inverts are qt for 1.5mnths? I mean is it air borne?

Aerosol transmission can occur within 10 feet of a QT or other infected system: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/aerosol-transmission.190292/

In addition, you must isolate all corals/inverts in a fishless environment for 76 days to get close to 100%. I say close to because I don't believe 100% (or 0%) exists in any situation, not in anything in this life. :)

Forgot to mention that point.. yes even if qt like 12ft away, is it still possible? Well soft corals and lps i guess are easy to qt, but what about some diff. Sps?

Are these ok to add in a qt?

I guess thr small one is cyramic anf the biger one is plastic types, my friend had got for me from uk. Both are ment for aquariums.

The plastic ones might be alright, but some ceramic tends to be porous so I would worry about medication absorption.
