Hello... I currently have a Red Sea reefer 170 with a pair of clowns and a royal gramma. Im thinking my max will be 4 or 5 fish total? Im looking for my 4th fish. What would you recommend? Thanks.

which one would be better Midas or tailspot blenny
What’s your next fish going to be ?
I wouldn’t go with a six line. Hawkfish are also cool
I would stick with wetmorla species. Six lines are only good if there alone in a frag tank. That’s gonna be a tough decision lol. I don’t know maybe a pink streak wrasse? Six line wrasse?
But, blue dots are beautiful.

Pink Streaked, yes. 6 line, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many people have torn their hair out in frustration over trying to remove the 6 line once it goes rogue.
Fish with undeniable personalities (JMO):
It's so exciting to plan a tank. Good luck...
- Hawkfish - always watching you. And when you don't see them, they are perched somewhere else watching you, lol
- Midas Blenny - Not as shy as some other blennies. I had one that established the evening resting spot on top of a veggie clip.
- Jawfish - You have to be setup for one (again JMO). Make sure all rocks are on the bottom of the tank and won't move if the sand is shifted. I even added two egg crate columns to support a flat rock in the middle of the tank and started a small burrow. I introduced the fish close to the burrow and the rest is history. You don't have to go for only blue dots because black caps or yellow heads are just as amazing to watch and just as busy, and not $120 a pop
But, blue dots are beautiful.
- YWG - A great fish. I had emeralds in the tank and the goby was not claiming territory. As a result, never got established (between the emeralds and other fish). That was too bad, but still a great active fish once established. And even better if paired with a pistol shrimp
