I currently have a 55 gallon reef tank and and I need some recommendations on some new fish. I currently have two clowns, a lawnmower blenny and a yellow tang. The yellow tang is small and I have future plans on a larger tank within the next 6 months, but for now I would like some fish that swim around more and are more active with being Coral safe and not aggressive to my other fish.

A small school of Blue/Green Chromis would liven it up.

Yellow wrasse (H. chrysus)
Carpenter flasher wrasse
Long nose hawk
Scissor tail dart fish
Sapphire damsel

I second the chronos. I have 3 in my DT and they are great to watch interact and are quite hardly. Cardinal fish, I have pajamas, would be another option but they kinda hover rather than swim around the tank

My scissortail is a nut - he surfs the waves all day and lays on the sand at night. My blue/green chromis is everywhere, all the time. My orchid dottyback is also pretty social. My most favorite fish ever was my blue spot yellow jawfish!

How long have u had the chromis? I was told they would turn on each other then only one would survive
