I am looking to add some additional activity to my 90 gallon mixed reef. What would you recommend as a 'schooling' group of small fishes? I already have three lemon damsels, and 4 green chromis. Just looking to add another group of small active fishes. Just don't know what might be best.

Just curious, what kind?
You could have any from these genera, just you’d most likely need to get 3-5 of one species and 3-5 of another instead of 10 of one species. This is due to in the wild these genera are usually found in pairs or small groups of 3 or 5. The genera I’m on about are;
- Coryphopterus
- Trimma
- Eviota

As for Cardinals, these often pair off when mature (Specifically the Bangaii Cardinals) and you’ll most likely end up with just 1 pair. There are some cardinals that won’t do this, I find PJ Cardinals are the best at both staying alive and staying grouped up in captivity. I say staying alive as many cardinal species outside of the Bangaii and PJ’s seem to have high mortality rates.
