I am looking for recommendations on fish to add. I have utility fish and a couple clowns. Tank is 1 year old 90 gallon.

Current Livestock:
Two Clowns
Diamond Watchman Goby
Aiptasia Eating Filefish
Lawnmower Blenny
Emerald Crad
Fighting Conch
Several other snails (Trochus, Cerith, Nerites, and Nassarius)
Several Hermits
No coral right now, but might look into some softies down the road.

So now I am looking for one or two colorful swimmers. Tangs don't really excite me due to price and them being ich magnets.

Pic of tank, well just because.

You have a full list of options in families like tangs, triggerfish (some are quite reef safe, like blue jaws), anthias, butterflies, foxface, wrasse, etc. Tangs are indeed expensive, and there are definitely more ich-prone ones that others. Power varieties, achilles, etc, etc. Blue hippos, yellows, purples, chocolates, convicts, and a whole slew of others fight it off pretty well, are active and personable, eat algae, and they can live a very long time. My current yellow is knocking on 20 years old...

Wrasse are also a favorite. Just be sure you get a reef safe variety if coral and inverts are likely, and not one that's likely to be a jerk (looking at you, six lines)!

I’ve grown to really like anthias. They are bright, colourful, peaceful, stay small, and active swimmers.

Fairy/flasher wrasses are always great. If FOWLR, a dwarf angel would be nice.
I second this, and would also add sand sleeping wrasses if you can find healthy specimens that eat frozen (smaller Halichoeres species, various Macropharyngodon species, Pseudojuloides species, Xenojulis margaritaceaus, and smaller Anampses species).

Need more rock and sleeping/hiding spots before adding any more fish.
I struggled with this. I have a bunch of rock in the sump and a bunch dry. I just couldn't put any together to look good to me. I suppose I should worry more about the fish being comfortable than my eyes.
