Fish room humidity level

For those of you who have a separate fish room, what humidity level do you consider to be acceptable? I have a fan in my room. I used to run it manually to reduce the levels, then i installed a humidity control in place of the switch. The problem is when it rains the fan runs most of the time. It runs a lot any way to try to maintain the humidity around 50%. So what level would good to avoid mold or other humidity related problems for the room?

I run a dehumidifier set to 45% .
