Hi all!!! So my FOWLR tank is crashing. 2 fish left and the one has fish rot. I’m assuming the last will go the same way but he’s not showing any signs or symptoms. So I’m hoping I can save her. Could anyone suggest anything I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Can you provide us pictures of the fish to help with diagnosis? Also water parameters, how long has the tank been up and running and when was the last time something was introduced to the tank?

This. Pictures will help us help you :)

Sorry. Woke up this am and the remaining fish are dead. I have a beautiful reef tank as well. This is my baby. I hate seeing any of my fish friends to die. So here now is my new question. I have 2 urchins left in the FOWLR that just crashed. I’m deadly afraid of putting them in my reef tank but I don’t want to see them go. Should I or could I quarantine them and put them in my reef or not worth the risk?

Urchins cannot carry ich tomonts, and I would assume the same applies for velvet (which is what probably killed all your fish).

However, given what's at stake here (and being you aren't 100% sure what killed all your fish) I personally would not risk it.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
