My royal gramma hides as soon as the light come on, when off he’s swimming around the tank, had him for about a month, is there anything I can try to get him more accustomed to the light? It’s only a Kessil a80.

Gramma's natural habitat are coral caves, where they often swim upside down against the ceiling. They do venture out to the cave mouths, but since they are typically found at depths of 25' or deeper, the light intensity isn't as strong. Be sure he has ample time to feed properly when the lights are dimmer.
