Thanks for indulging a newbie question. Just added 2 small 1-1.5 inch clown fish to my fully cycled 2 month old tank. It occurred to me that I didn’t think about if it matters what size fish go in there. They are small so I turned the pumps down a little because I am worried they will get blown around the tank. Is small size something I should consider when stocking?
thanks

Not really. If you had a bunch of large fish that would harass or eat the smaller fish, then yes. You don’t really need to turn down the pumps for an inch and a half clownfish, they’ll find pockets of low flow if they want, and so long as you’re feeding them enough, the stronger flow in some areas is good exercise. I would be more worried about adding fish that are going to quickly outgrow the tank.
