Fish stocking

I am planning on having a pair of clownfish (small) and a pair of Bangui cardinals is this too many fish and if so are there alternatives (no skimmer) and a few corals
20 gallon cube aquarium reasonably strong filter

Would the clown pair, one Bangii and one fire fish be fine ?

That sounds perfect. I would suggest that when you purchase your clowns, get one slightly larger than the other. It will make pairing a little easier. I bought two juveniles that were the same size and one bullied the other to death after getting along and hanging together for 3 months. I bought another about 1/3 larger and they are bonded.

That would work just as well. Remember to get a lid! Fire fish will jump 100% of the time.
