I am looking to add some new fish now that I have upgraded from 22 gallons to 54 gallons.

The fish I currently have:
-2 clowns
-Yellow Watchman Goby

The fish I potentially want:
-Melanarus Wrasse
-Possum Wrasse
-Tailspot Blenny
-Coral Beauty

Does this list seem feasible? Any suggestions on order to add them in. From what I have read it seems they are all rather peaceful although I know the Melanarus could have the potential to be more aggressive. Also would like to hear feedback on your experiences with Coral Beauty's being reef safe.

The Possum and Tailspot should be fine. Melanurus wrasse should be OK also, and IMO Coral Beauty should be fine. Strange as it seem I have not keep Coral beauty in the last 30 years. I guess I like Flame Angel too much and I tent to keep harem of my Dwarf Angels.

Coral beauties are not always reef safe and unfortunately there's no way of knowing if yours is or isn't, until it's already to late for something you enjoyed in your tank. If your ok with that inherent risk I don't see an issue with the coral beauty and your other proposed tank mates.

54 is on the small side for that stocking list though I'd say. Not that it can't be done, but it will require more care and attention with additions and territories and nutrients.

Is 54 your total tank volume? Or is that just display and you additional volume in a sump?

Skip melanurus which gets large and can create A mess with sand

That is just display tank total volume is about 65 gallons. I do worry about the bio load though as my skimmer is a bit undersized for my new setup.

Lunare is similar and is smaller. Flasher wrasses are gorgeous
I am really surprise that @vetteguy53081 suggest a Lunare, Thalassoma lunare, for @TinyReef522 reef tank. In no way a Lunare wrasse (10 inch) agressive fish should be add into a reef tank. It definitely not reef-safe.

After thinking about I think there must be some other Lunare fish he is thinking about. Problem with common names I am sure.

Most of the flasher likely won’t do well in a 50ish gal tank. They are very active and fast moving wrasse. They are beautiful how ever.
Consider a H. iridis, the Radiant wrasse and the Black Leopard

Beautiful. Seems like they may be hard to get. I think I may consider a yellow coris wrasse as it seems they stay a bit smaller than a melanarus.

You are correct- I meant lubbocks but of course I have an Iphone that tells me what to say (it changes words on me) as I have used the word lunare frequently for flatworm issues. Possum wrasse and pink streak are others I would recommend If eating

Consider the Silver Belly Yellow wrasse. The adult coloration of the Silver belly is much nicer, other than that the two wrasses are practically identical

This is one of the best Flasher but I am very hesitant to put him in a 53 gal tank. The Diamond Tail Flasher it does not cost an arm or a leg but definitely a finger or two
