How long does it normally take for fish to acclimate and not be stressed after a tank move and upgrade? I've got two or three that are pretty stressed out (2 Anthias and a one spot foxface). They're not eating, and one Anthias is kinda staying on the substrate.

I used most of my old water (it's about 60/40 for NSW vs my old). All of my live rock, which wasn't exposed to air but maybe 5 seconds, and all my old filter media.

3 clowns, 2 Anthias and a foxface... Peppermint shrimp and a fighting conch.

Upgrade from a 60 HOB everything to a 112 g with a 30 gallon sump.
I'm adding stress guard to try and help.

How long have the fish been in the system? In my experience it depends greatly on the species of fish but various other factors also play a part. I have had fish eat a few hours after acclimation and some have taken 4 weeks. If you don’t see ick or any other parasite the chances are they are fine. Im ruling out internal parasites simply because you had them already in a previous system and did not add any new livestock.

This is day two. Yesterday they ate a little bit. No exploring yet though. They're cuddling together. Lol.

Last week we had to break down and move their original tank to another area to set up this new one. They seemed to be okay with that move... But not the new tank set up.

Only 2 days? They should be back at it soon you should’nt worry about it too much unless you notice parasites or any disease for that matter. Once I got a firefish pair and they completely dissapeared for 3 months so I had ruled them as dead and then out of nowhere the pair appears out of the rockwork! I have no idea what they were feeding on to this day lol.

Ha! My fighting conch did that, pretty sure it died, but nope.

Thank you! So far everyone looks pretty good besides a scrape here and there.
