I add Selcon and Garlic Guard to the frozen foods that I feed my fish to. Just wondering if there is any actual evidence that they improve fish health and or fish immunity. Also should I start Vita Chem

I'd say only use garlic if you need to, a few food suppliers have stopped using it as it MIGHT harm fish over time. selcon is fine, and vita chem is fine. Personally I like to give fish as plain food as a possible although many soak with vitamins.

You know the back of the human supplements that say,

“This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.”

That’s what these fish supplements are.

Feed fish what they are nutritionally supposed to eat and skip the supplements.

Thanks how often would you suggest using supplements and should I stop using Garlic Guard or just use it sparingly

Supplements are very subjective on their use, some like em, I say to try and match natural diet as best as possible, and use supplements for sick fish that need a boost. Garlic guard should not be used unless trying to get super picky fish to learn how to eat different foods or to get sick fish to eat IMO

I use selcon daily, garlic a few times a week and vitachem once a week. Fish seem fat and healthy.
