I have an old tank (180 gallons) with a black frame/ trim. One on the top with a cross member and between trim on the buttom. I moved the tank to the garage for a while and now I'm ready to move it back into the house. During the move, the button trim became unglue on one corner. The glass rest on the trim part. The question is, with all the weight will it safe to glue back in? Or will it be best to remove the button one, use some foam between the glass and plywood?

Thou might want to leak test the tank while its still in the garage. If movement caused the black frame to release, then that same action may have compromised a seal on the tank.

No leaks, the frame came loose when one of the guys put his fingers under it and grab the frame.
