Mine is definitely my female clown. ( she’s only like 1 1/2 inches but acts like a shark). She bites me every time my hand is in the tank. If I wear gloves she bites the gloves and shakes her head like a dog with a rope. Lol. But I love the little brat.

IMG_2901.jpg Female Clown is mean as h*ll.. She attacks relentlessly when my bare hand is in the tank. If I wear my gloves she leaves me alone. Guess she knows she can't get any skin when I have them on.
She's the one on the left. The male doesn't mess with me. Yet!

Ha when you have experience of a clown fish chasing and biting you, then reading all these letters is so funny. How the hell did they get their " finding Nemo" nice for kids , reputation

Smallest fish in my tank is the only one that bites.... my Yellow Tail Damsel.... sneaky lil bugger!!! Too small to hurt and kind of funny watching him defend his cave!

I've owned many many freshwater American cichlids. My red devil and Midas pair had some nasty teeth and they gladly would chomp anyone anytime. Especially when they started spawning. Oh boy. You may as well just not come home that day :p I've heard dovii are pretty nasty too.

As far as saltwater, my maroon clowns like biting. I actually had to zip tie a piece of wood to my water change hose and do things that way because she would bite so hard.

Both of my clowns will go after me if I get too close while cleaning

If I put my arm too close to my Tailspot Blenny's barnacle he'll start nipping at me. It's too cute.
