So I have had diatoms for a while and could never figure out the cause but I finally found out why I have it and why it will never go away...apparently diatoms are caused by silica aka the stuff my sand is made of

As such, is there any peaceful fish that will readily graze on diatoms and not just when it’s starving. Thanks in advance
