I was just curious... How many of you have seen people that buy tangs/blennies to control their algae problem and then not really ensure that the fish get fed regularly? I've seen a few cases where the tangs are so skinny and it just upsets me. I've seen one person "lose" a small yellow tang and a starry blenny... Just wondering if anyone had thoughts on this issue??

I feed my babies everyday and they're fat little piggies :)

Fat fish = happy fish (in most cases) ;)

My tangs graze all day long and i also feed them and they are fat as little piggies. Do you mean that people think that there tangs only need to eat the algae that is growing in there tanks.

Our LFS advised us to get algae and seaweed for our turbo snails and lawnmower blenny. Its mostly our turbo snails and blue legged hermit crabs and emerald crabs that like it tho :)

Yea that's exactly what I'm talking about. and I'm glad to hear that my tangs aren't the only fatties around :)
