Hi, All.

I have a huge cluster of feather dusters that randomly popped up in my tank. It started out small and is now taking over all the rocks in that corner.

Is there a fish or some invertebrate that eats these pesky feather dusters? None of mine do.

TYIA!

My wrasses make short work of anything like that. Usually I'm happy about it, but I do wish they'd leave feather dusters alone---and would stop murdering nassarius snails

I have a pink streaked wrasse, a white tail bristle tooth tang, and even a mollie in there and no one will touch it!

As for fish, my suggestions have already been said. However, I have a similar issue, only it is in the back section of my AIO, where there is a colony of 200+ tiny feather dusters. Since I have noticed them, though, my water has consistently been crystal clear, and since feather dusters are filter feeders, I think this it their doing. idk, something to consider :)

Yeah, I checked on the "what's that" forum to be sure they were good feather dusters, and I left them alone, but they're literally taking over the back corner, and I don't want them to keep going further out. I prefer natural "predators" to scraping stuff off or picking stuff out or chemically treating, so I thought I'd pick some big brains. ;)
