Are there any species of fish that will keep caulerpa in check but not completely decimate and eat all of it? I was thinking a foxface or a tang, but I would need a fish that would fit into a 75 gallon aquarium and be comfortable with a volitan lion and a snowflake eel. I am asking as I usually trim the caulerpa myself, but plan on getting a large lionfish for the tank after my eel decided to massacre the rest of my fish out of nowhere, and don't feel very comfortable sticking my hand in an aquarium with a large, venomous fish if I don't have to.

Any help is appreciated!!

And i don't want a fish that is going to completely destroy it— i like the look of caulerpa prolifera on the sandbed, I just dont want it to grow out of hand and me not be able to trim it do to a large lion in the tank— i’d like to keep my hands out of the tank as much as possible. Would an urchin of some sort work?
