Does anyone know of a fish (or an invert, even) that will eat vermetid snails? My rockwork is full of them and I want them gone.

Only thing that works for me is using plyers and crushing their shells and then my six line will come eat the worm but he will not eat them normally only after i crush their shell.

Darn. That's...difficult at best because they're everywhere x.x maybe I should just get some fresh rock...bleh....

Honestly that's what I did, when I upgraded just fragged everything and started with all new rock. I still get a couple that spring up here and there but with the small #s it's easy to keep them under control

Hmm....
Maybe I should acid-treat what I have instead of buying new. Cheaper that way. Might work. :)

Guess I'm making a trip to the dollar store for frag glue, too XD

Thanks!

Vermetids are more of a worm, even though they are classified as snails. I doubt any wrasse is going to solve the issue.

Another critter that thrives in tanks higher in nutrients.

My canary wrasse will nibble at them from time to time. What I do is super glue the ends shut and they starve out after a couple of weeks. Then you can safely break them off. If you break them off while they're alive you run the risk of fragmenting them and spreading them. Unfortunately, I know this first hand. :(
