Fish traps:getting out a scared fish

So I got a clouded wrasse that killed a few fish, that I been trying to get out for a couple months now. Tried a fish trap from Amazon that you pull the string to close the door once he is in, and he never gets in, the only fish that never got in! Tried cutting a 2 litter in half and inverting a side, he never got in! He is kicking my butt and the wife likes to bring it up how im losing to a fish, and im tired of it lol. Is there any other ideas or traps that are goodni can try? And im not taking everything out and going that route....blol

how big is the tank?

90 gallon. Have a hundred pounds or so of live rock.

Depends on the fish . And the size of the aquarium .
and how bad you want it out .
have you tried a fishing line with a hook ?
File the barb off .
bait the hook , grab a beer and go fishing .
worked amazing for squirrel fish and large a hole damsels .
im sure it would work for a wrasse .
