I've noticed most of my fish twitch or scratch to different extents when I add prazipro. Does thisnhave any significance? Normally this would mean some parasites or flukes might be moving or detaching (as I believe The effect is instant) but again I've seen the same reaction on fluke and parasite free fish as well (previous fw dip) do you notice the same or have any clear explanation for this?

I've only noticed twitching with Prazipro if the fish has flukes and they are spasming on the fish's body/inside the gills.

I suppose certain fish might twitch/scratch if the medication itself irritates their skin or gills.

I feel prazi is hard on fish and might cause them some irritation. I get my fish from BPK which i know they treat for prazi, but still to be on safe side i treat again, tangs seem to do well, but angels got irritated along with few other fish and i noticed some twitching by them but not significant to get me concerened.

Looking at the amount of flukes infected fish we get and also the amount of external parasites u can see on fish I'm all for 2 rounds of Prazi for any Fish in quarantine before adding to display. Never had any issues except the instant twitching for few minutes. Also never had fish stop eating because of prazi as reported. Yes believe BPK are treating with prazi and other stuff now and it shows on the quality of the Fish u see in the store.
Are you based in Dubai?

When I treat with prazipro I add half dose to the qt then 1-1.5 hrs later I add the second half dose it seems to give the fish a little time to get acclimated to it. Haven't had any problems doing this

True. I perform too the two rounds of prazi, but i do it with ttm so i do it around a day prior to transfer to minimize the side effects.
