Yea that is a sweet one.....I have looked there many time to see if that was back in stock....But no.

I don't have a pic but I would have to say my 1A choice would be a pair of Maldives Clowns again.

Nice choice! A local breeder recently acquired a pair. Hopefully we will see some babies locally in the future!

If your talking about the pink margin - its a "stock" picture, so I have had to ask if they ever get one in that looks like it to let me know. I haven't heard back though

Hopefully a vendor on here, or someone else will see one and let me know :xd:

I just found swissguard basselets for $60 I wouldnt mind trying to breed them. Either that or candy basselets.

Kind of close, but looks like a very nice pink marginautis, and only 70 bucks at NYAquatics.

Is that really a pink margin????? I ordered one (due in tomorrow). All the ones I have seen don't look like that. That is sweet.

femininus wrasse for me!

Oh, and maybe a candy basslet too!

You read my mind! LOL
The hard part is finding a healthy one. Anampses femininus that is.
I've heard they are bad shippers also.
Hopefully Matt from Austin Aquafarms will have good luck.

When I got my copy of the wrasse book a couple years ago, I put a post-it note on the page with the femininus as I was truly taken by it. I then see one in my friends tank in April and I think I stared at it for almost an hour ... it's a beautiful fish but as you said it does not ship well. One almost needs it to go from the collector directly to the hobbiest tank I am told!

I agree. Anampses fish are tough. But once you find a healthy one, they are great.
Its just a big gamble to dish out that much money for an anampses. But it would sure be nice to have. I've been looking for one for well over a year now.

I'm waiting for my SPS frags to grow in first so that my fish have some places to hide before I drop any money on something that could be chased to death by my other wrasses. Hopefully by then there will be more availability in the trade!

And if were talking regardless of price (as in, contract a diver, motor 'em out there and stand on the boat until they get back :p) then one of these angels:
