Need some help my tank is about 2 months old 34 gallon reef set up. Currently have 2 Fish bangai cardinal and small clown. Whenever I feed unless the food is right in front of them they don't eat they don't go after food, the bangai cardinal only stays in about a 4 inch area so it's hard for food to just land in that area will they finally start going after food if they get hungry enough?

How long has the tank been set up? How long have you had the fish?

Where is the tank located? I have a yellow flanked wrass that didn't eat for two days but my QT is at the corner of my hobby room and no one besides me goes into that room. And on day three I saw on the camera that the wrasse took a bite at the mysis shrimp I dumped in the tank. So I think a private location with minimum location helps reducing stress and the fish is more likely to eat prepared food.

Not in a high traffic area but I do watch to see if they eat maybe I should not stay close to tank and hope they are eating
