Thank you! I never really knew! It’s timid. That looks like a dispar or ignitus anthias
I only have two clowns currently, so I don't have much input. I do wonder why so many people are saying they wouldn't want another clown.
I will say of the Clownfish I have owned or cared for (at an LFS) Tomatoes and Maroons can become VERY aggressive. Relentlessly aggressive. I have never had trouble with ocellaris, Clarkii or bicinctus, even in tight quarters (though others have).
I know this is too late for you, @Bleigh , but often I find people set up their tanks and the first fish they add are Clownfish. The reality is they are often aggressive, especially in breeding pairs. It is best to add the more timid fish first so they establish their homes and territories before adding Clowns or other aggressive fish.
Below is my stocking in my tank and the only real ****** is the wrasse and the chromis. They don’t do anything crazy or cruel but I’m trading the chromis and maybe the wrasse back for a comet. Everything else gets along great. But green chromis are little ********
Line spot wrasse
Orchid dottyback
Long nose butterfly fish
2 clowns
Watchman Goby
Pistol shrimp
4 hermit crabs
Royal gramma basslet
Coral Beauty Angelfish
6 turbo snails
1 black urchin
3 Green Chromis
No problem lol, they are very coolThank you! I never really knew! It’s timid.
At my local LFS they have a pair in a tank and they attack anyone so bad that I’ve seen the workers hands come out bloody because hit the side or the hand of the worker so hard
I love my clowns but tomatoes are evil
They get very aggressive when they get a spot they like and go ******* yOu this is my rock lol
Is the wrasse a flasher wrasse?
Yea that makes sense lolYes he’s an *** but not mean if that makes sense
What kind of hawkfishhawkfish - TERROR!
Spotted - started out great and then became a terror. Spent $40 for a fish trap and caught him in five minutes! What kind of hawkfish
Thats unfortunate. If you like the look of hawkfish and want somthing peaceful you should look into the geometric pygmy perchlet, i absolutely love mine and he is stunning and very comicalSpotted - started out great and then became a terror. Spent $40 for a fish trap and caught him in five minutes!
Whats a poma angelfish, do you mean like emperors and their genus pomacanthus, thats unfortunate he turned out like thatz hopefully if u try them them again youll get a more chilled angel lolPoma Angelfish was by far the peskiest fish I’ve ever owned. No matter how big or small he would constantly beat other fish up for no reason. Kept him well fed with tons of live rock but it made no difference. Never again but who knows maybe it was just his personality but nonetheless never again.
