Thinking of adding a fishers angle to my reef aquarium. I know all angles are pretty much hit or miss if they are gonna nip at corals but what are everyone's thoughts. Any pics? Just want an angle you dont see often like the coral beauty and flame angle. Or any other suggestions? Current tank is a 75. Will be upgrading to 220 once 75 is stocked with corals and fish outgrow 75.

Potters angel.

I just bit the bullet and got a juvenile emperor angel. So I guess we will see how he does. I don't have any experience with the one you are asking about. I have seen reef tanks with angels before, some work and some don't. It comes down to the personality of the individual fish.

I have had a Potters in every Reef tank I've ever had. I love dwarf angels and have tried many over the years. My experiences suggest that Potters angels are the most Reef-safe centropyges consistently. I've never had a nipper (any dwarf will likely nip here or there. Nipping to me means noticeable damage). I've kept coral beauties, multicolors, multibars, dwarf goldens, lemonpeels, keyholes, eiblis, singapores, and grey poma angels. As far as being Reef safe I've had the best luck with the golden, Potters, multibar, and multicolor.

Thanks for the input. I heard Potters had the highest rate for coral nipping. I do love the Potters. And you sound like you have deff had your fair share.
