Since I installed two Jebao CP-25 Gyres on backwall of my 48 inch leght tank, my fishes become less active, specialy Cardinal and Firefish. Even if Gyres speed is on minimum.

Is that normal?

It took my fish a couple days to get used to the gyres when I put them in. My clowns could care less, along with my Tanaka and YWG, but the other wrasses and my one spot foxface were a little thrown off, especially my one spot. Once they get used to it, they'll be riding the currents.

How big is your tank? It's possible that it could be having an effect on the flow in your tank. I run two maxspect gyres xf330 on alternating mode on a tidepool/wave setting - 80% being the highest flow in our 100g. Our fish don't seem to have any issue... they should be used to the natural ocean currents.

Outside of the wavemakers have you changed anything else in your tank?
