I started this tank back in the beginning of October of this year. I found an Oceanic Biocube on craigslist for $50 and gutted the canopy. I ended up adding an extra fan and may go with one more. I also put in a Nanobox retro light.

I used some rock I had sitting around for 3 yrs from my previous tank and also had half a bag of sand.

Here are some pictures

Not the best shot to see the new acans. Its a top down shot but my light is in the hood so I can't get the best light over the coral when taking a picture this way.

Started some phyto/copepods for my little trimma and eviota gobies. Waiting on the pods actually but split my first batch of phyto today.

Ordered 3 trimma tevegae and 1 trimma rubromaculatus from a not so local fish store yesterday.. they were the only one i could find that could get in the trimma tevegae. They only put in an order for 3 of the blue line(trimma tevegae) and one came in doa and one was actually a eviota nigriventris. I'm a little disappointed that I drove an hour and only got 1 of the fish i really wanted.

So I'm having some problems with a few of my acans. They are starting to recede and a few of the heads have actually died back. Its a little frustrating. I'm wondering if I don't have to much flow. I added a powerhead for my sps about a month ago. Best bet is to get my 65 gal tub up and running and get the acans out.

haven't posted much recently. Got a few new things but the tank is such a mess so I'll just post two of the cool frags I picked up. This tank is kind of turning into a holding tank for my 65 while its cycling. Love these zoanthids.
